Match Format
The GSMM match is one of CMP's most popular CMP Games events held. These matches allow local competitors to hone their skills on these old warhorse rifles, modern and vintage military and have fun doing it.
GSMM Match, Rifle Course A - competitors use one of the firearms allowed as per CMP rules. The course of fire is 5 sighter shots slow-fire prone; 10 shots slow-fire prone (sighters and slow prone can be combined ) 10 shots rapid-fire prone; 10 shots slow fire standing. All shot from 200 yards on targets. (See Course A Diagram below)
GSMM Match, Rifle Course B - competitors use one of the firearms allowed as per CMP rules. The course of fire is 5 sighter shots slow-fire prone; 20 shots slow-fire prone (sighters and slow prone can be combined ) 10 shots rapid-fire prone from Standing; 10 shots rapid-fire sitting or kneeling from standing; 10 shots slow-fire standing. All shot from 200 yards on targets. (See Course B Diagram below)
